The Breaking of Dawn

Heyyy!

So I was just looking through some of my old photos, and I happen to stumble across one that I took last year in December. It was when my friends and I went on a overnight road trip, and then went hiking to see the sunrise! Haha good times…

 While I was staring at the picture though, it sparked a small idea for a poem to write. And as I know some of you seem to enjoy my poems, I figured why not show you! (;

The Breaking of Dawn

“I can see the light of Dawn

The everlasting darkness fading

Cold leaving my bones

And the warmth of hope filling them again

Though the stars have lit our way

As we walked down this path

Nothing is greater than seeing the Sun.”
